Easter Apparently No Special Day for Google

I have always been entertained by the creativity of the Google folks to dress up their logo in accordance with the theme of the day. So how shocked was I this morning to discover that Easter no longer qualifies as a special day in their eyes.

What a negative statement towards Christianity to display just their simple default logo on the most glorious day of the calendar for Christians around the globe.  You can bet if this were “Save the Whales Day” or “Hug Your Favorite Tree Day“, etc. there would be something decorative to mark the occasion.  But Google’s silence speaks volumes on this historic holiday.
